Our founders...

GRANT ME A CHANCE, INC. was founded by three mothers whose lives were forever changed through the miracle of adoption and whose hearts and thoughts are constantly with those left behind.   

It is our sincere hope and prayer that together we CAN make a difference.  Together we can grant them the chance they deserve. ..a family!  

Grant Me a Chance, Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focusing on the needs of orphaned children and the families who wait to love them.  

We provide adoption grants on behalf of qualified adoptive families wishing to open their hearts and home to a child or children with a focus on older children, sibling groups, and children with special needs. 

Tyla Gilchrist serves as Chairman of GRANT ME A CHANCE, INC.  Tyla is a Registered Nurse and has always enjoyed working with special children.  She and her husband, Harold, have three children, two that joined their family through adoption.  They are passionate advocates for the children who remain parentless and hope that by their work through this organization, many children will find their forever family.

Holly Brooke serves as Vice-Chair of GRANT ME A CHANCE, INC.  Holly is a Regional Director for HealthSouth and has over 18 years of healthcare management experience.  She and her husband, Richard, have adopted four children.  The Brooke's hope that by raising adoption awareness, other children will be blessed with the miracle of family.

Cheryl Bonfils-Rasmussen serves as Executive Director of GRANT ME A CHANCE, INC. Cheryl holds a degree in Education/Speech Pathology and currently serves as Clinical Director for a Sleep Disorder Center.  She and her husband, Jann, feel fortunate to have adopted two daughters from China and hope that through this organization, many more children will find their way to a place called home.  

Cameron Graber is a practicing attorney in Austin, Texas.  He serves as Treasurer and Legal Counsel for GRANT ME A CHANCE, INC. He and his wife Julie have two adopted daughters and hope to help many others find their way to a family.

Kristi Quadrato serves on the GRANT ME A CHANCE Board as Secretary.  Kristi and her husband, Craig, have one adopted daughter and hope to add another child to their family soon!  Kristi hopes that her work through GRANT ME A CHANCE, INC. can make a difference in the lives of many other parentless children.
